Amb. Nyagahura Presented her Letters of Credence to H.E the President of the Republic of Hungary

H.E. Marguelitte Francoise Nyagahurathe Ambassador of Rwanda to Hungary presented her Letters of Credence to His Excellency Dr. Tamás Sulyok, the President of the Republic of Hungary, as the first Rwanda’s resident Ambassador, in a ceremony held at a Presidential Palace in Budapest on March 26th, 2024.
After the presentation of credentials, Amb. Nyagahura, was received for a courtesy meeting by H.E Dr. Sulyok, during which Ambassador conveyed His Excellency President Paul Kagame's greetings and wishes for his Hungarian counterpart, and the desire of the Government of Rwanda to enhance the bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries. 
H.E. Tamás Sulyok, in his message commended Rwanda for the socio-economic progress in the last 30 years, assured the Ambassador of the support from Hungarian institutions and conveyed his best wishes to H.E. the President of the Republic and the People of Rwanda.

Rwanda opened its Embassy in Budapest in January 2024, 

Hungary is represented to Rwanda with its Embassy with residence in Nairobi, Kenya, but it opened its diplomatic office based in Kigali, Rwanda in October 2024.
